CapStorm Crew: Sharon Steingruber, Our Partner Alliance Rockstar

Teamwork is a key part of CapStorm’s ideology. Whether in each of our departments or with our work with our customers, we strive to build a solid sense of unity. And when it comes to our outside partnerships, our Partner Alliance Manager Sharon Steingruber is always on the ball. Learn more about Sharon, and how her love of travel has led this Georgia-raised mother of three around the world.

Can you tell us a little about your background?

I’ve been in Atlanta since I was one year old, so I’m a native. I’ve only lived outside of Georgia once when I lived in the Caribbean for a bit after college. Most of my professional experience has been in selling, which I love. I have four siblings,  three kids, two pets, and one husband.

Do you have any tv shows that you are currently binge-watching?

I’m currently watching “The Patient” and “House of the Dragon,” but when I need to be more mellow it’s, “The Great British Baking Show,” “Abbott Elementary,” and “Glow Up.”

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick?

If my family was easily accessible, it would be the Caribbean. I just want to be near my family so wherever they land is where I’ll be!

If you could tell your 13-year-old self one thing, what would it be?

You will not always have that complexion, but your hair will make you crazy your whole life. Just embrace it.

What’s one thing on your bucket list?

A sailing trip through the Virgin Islands.

How did you get started in your industry?

A friend got me started – I had no idea what I was getting into but I knew I could sell and I knew I worked hard. I’ve loved it from the beginning!

What’s been your most interesting job so far?

After college, I drove the beverage cart at the golf course in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It gave me some amazing memories and a great tan!

What are some of your day-to-day job duties?

Here at CapStorm, most of my day is spent managing and growing relationships between CapStorm and our strategic partners. This involves telling our story to people from all over the world, which is super cool.

What is the most unusual aspect of working here?

Everyone in this company is so incredibly NICE.  From the very top down, it’s apparent that everyone is here to help.  I’ve worked for some great companies but never have I seen such dedication to the success of everyone in the company.

What are your goals for the next six months?

Crush it.
