I attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta where I studied Political Science. I just recently celebrated four of the best years of my life with my lovely wife who has also given me my beautiful daughter.
What is something unique about (a fun fact) that few people are aware of?
I am a third-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. I started training when I was 5 years old. Originally my parents put me in karate to burn off some energy but apparently, I must have really enjoyed it because I stuck with it for over well over a decade.

Do you have any programs that you are currently binge-watching?
The most recent show I binged was Yellowstone, but fortunately or unfortunately I am all caught up.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick?
Maybe in Japan or somewhere in Europe so I could ride the trains or anywhere. I feel like I haven’t seen enough of the world to have a solid answer!
How did you get started in your industry?
I kind of fell into sales. My dad had told me for years that he thought I would like sales because I liked to talk. I was working in a different field, and I didn’t feel very fulfilled. So when I decided I wanted to change careers, he said, “try a sales job, and if you don’t like it, I’ll ask you again” So honestly, I took a job to make some money while finding another job and to prove him wrong … Here we are 10 years later!
What’s been your most interesting job so far?
When I was 18, I worked in Ohio on a fracking crew laying pipes. I worked as a laborer. Long days in the sun, feet hurting, walking up and down hills carrying heavy chains. It was taxing! But honestly, I have so much respect for people in that trade. I was blown away by how precise and delicate the machine operators were.
What drew you to CapStorm?
The passion that everyone has for this company and the solution. In my first call with Drew Niermann, I could see the excitement and passion he has for CapStorm, and that really got me interested. Then hearing the story of how Greg and Mary built this company from the ground up was basically icing on the cake for me!
What are your goals for the next six months?
Build out our channel program, generate legitimate sales opportunities for the sales team, and hopefully help this company grow exponentially.
What is your favorite aspect of your industry?
I think my favorite part is just how much everything changes and evolves. One year it’s all about this shiny new thing, and the next second that thing is out, and this new software is all the rage.
