Can you tell us a little about your background?
Professional: I started in IT at a backup and disaster recovery provider as a Junior Solutions Architect. I worked with customers to develop backup/DR solutions for their unique environment to ensure that they were able to recover quickly and completely. Concurrently, I also led the SOC2 Compliance initiative and directed the team through 3 successful audits. Later I moved into the Customer Success Team to be more hands-on and build deeper customer relationships.
Personal: Me, my husband and our baby girl are living the dream in Marietta, GA. I grew up around here, as well, in Kennesaw. I love tennis and played competitively as a teen. I am still known to hop on a tennis court now and then 😉 . We love to walk up to the Marietta Square on the weekends to hang out, and every now and then, we catch a Falcons game at the stadium.
If you could only drink one beverage for the rest of your life what would it be?
Would you judge me if I said wine? Hear me out; there are so many vintages and styles that you would likely never be able to try it all in your lifetime, even if it was the only thing you could drink! How many other beverages could say that?
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick?
We love being here in Georgia, where we are close to our family and friends! However, I would love a vacation home somewhere tropical with crystal clear water.
Which fictional character would you most like to swap lives with and why?
Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice because she was strong, had courage in her convictions, was empathetic, and wanted what was best for her family.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Anywhere with rich history! I love old architecture and a good history lesson behind it. I have been to London, Brussels, Paris, Rome, and Tel Aviv, and every time I travel, the surreal thought that someone else walked here a thousand years ago (or more) blows my mind.
What drew you to CapStorm?
CapStorm drew my attention to the Project Management position because it felt like it encompassed all of my current skills into one position, and that was exciting. Not only did the role intrigue me, but the culture that Greg and Mary have gone through great lengths to cultivate is inspiring, and everyone talked about it. Now I can attest that as an employee, I am truly valued, and 100% align with CapStorms culture and goals.
