Can you tell us a little about your background?
I was born and raised in North Georgia and love it here! Graduated from UGA in May 2021 and have been working with software since high school. Outside of work, I like to play golf, listen to music, and learn random things.
What is something unique about you (a fun fact) that few people are aware of?
I enjoy puzzles, which naturally led me to the Rubix cube, which I can solve in under a minute.
What is your favorite pastime?
Golf! I may not be great at it, but every once in a while, I make a putt that gets me coming back for the next year.
Which fictional character would you most like to swap lives with and why?
Tony Stark. The guy is a rich, genius superhero. Although he was a bit self-centered, he meant well deep down and checked all three boxes of what I wanted to be as a kid.
If you could only drink one beverage for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sprite from McDonald’s. There is something about it that makes it superior to all other Sprite.
How did you get started in your industry?
I took AP Computer Science in my senior year of high school and really enjoyed the ability to swiftly design and build things guided by logic. Once I got to college I switched majors from Biochemical Engineering to Computer Engineering and never looked back.
What’s been your most interesting job so far?
Learning about the vast utilization and customizable solutions found within CapStorm’s product suite.
What drew you to CapStorm?
From the outside looking in, CapStorm seemed like a small company with a lot of firepower — not only in terms of the software it has produced but also in terms of the people behind the tech.
What is your definition of success?
Improvement every day. No matter how large or small, success in my eyes is growing more from the person you were the day before.
Who would you select as a mentor if you could choose anybody, and why?
Nikola Tesla – There can’t be anything better as a mentor than an inventor who was constantly trying to stretch boundaries and create.
