This land-grant research university needed an operational archive to support backup, restore, and long-term reporting. With large volumes of data flowing through Salesforce Service Cloud, the university faced challenges in verifying discrepancies, identifying inactive records, and maintaining a clean, accurate dataset. At the same time, leadership required access to historical records, often outside of Salesforce, to support audits, funding decisions, and academic planning. They needed a scalable solution to separate active from inactive data, without losing visibility.
